We should really share Nelly’s story in sign langauge, as this amazing young lady has been deaf since she was a toddler after contracting measles. Nelly’s early life was one of hardship, with her mum being a single parent and living hand to mouth each day.

Born and raised in Kibera, life has always been tough for these siblings. With Paul’s self-sacrifice, the support of the community and the work of KIMMTA, Paul’s brother has broken the poverty cycle and become a proud teacher at one of the nation’s leading schools.
