Give a classroom of young children the nourishment they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
Hunger is one of the biggest barriers to early education. For many of the 3–6-year-olds in our Early Childhood Development Centres (ECDs), the meal they receive at school is the only one they’ll eat that day. Without it, children struggle to walk the long distances to school, concentrate in class, or stay healthy enough to attend regularly.
Your donation of £250 provides a nutritious morning snack and a hot lunch every school day for an entire month, feeding between 70 and 120 children, depending on the size of the ECD.
The lunches typically include rice and beans or ugali, served with skuma wiki (a local leafy green) and beans - balanced meals designed to keep children full, focused, and healthy.
This £250 covers the full cost of providing these meals for the month.
It’s a simple act with a profound impact: better attendance, improved health, and brighter futures for every child in the classroom.
By sponsoring one of our vocational life skills courses at Nyamache Training College, you’ll be helping students gain practical skills and break the poverty cycle for good.
Each course supports approx. 30 students and focuses on hands-on training in areas such as welding and fabrication, hairdressing, tailoring and dressmaking - trades that are in demand within local communities.
Why it matters
For many young people in rural western Kenya, access to further education or employment is extremely limited. Without skills, opportunities are scarce. Vocational training provides a clear pathway to work or entrepreneurship, helping students break the cycle of poverty for themselves and their families.
What your support provides
A qualified trainer’s wage
Tools, materials and equipment for practical learning
Skills that lead directly to employment or self-employment
Lasting impact
Students leave Nyamache with more than a certificate - they leave with confidence, real-world experience and the ability to generate an income. Many go on to start small businesses, support their families and pass their skills on within their communities.
As a corporate sponsor, you’ll receive:
Regular updates on the project, including photos and student stories
Your logo featured on our website and social media recognition for your incredible support
One of the most anticipated events of the year, our football tournament brings together over 500 young people from Kibera — Kenya’s largest slum — for a day of sport, teamwork, and empowerment.
Your sponsorship covers everything needed to make it happen: organisers, pitch hire, referees, medals, trophies, match balls, first aiders, and local marketing.
We’ll also run empowerment workshops alongside the tournament, teaching vital lessons on personal safety, health, and nutrition.
Please note: if you’re donating as a business, we can include you as a named sponsor for the event, giving your organisation visible recognition across both our marketing and the event in Kenya

Boo has already made a huge impact on the lives of children in Kenya. However, over 2 million children still go without food, clean water and most importantly education every day. We have the power to change lives, through education, empowerment and creating employment opportunities.
Please help us make a difference, one person at a time.
