At Nyamache Life Skills Centre, community is at the heart of everything we do.

Nestled within a vibrant and close-knit community, our centre thrives on the strong relationships cultivated between our dedicated teachers and eager students.

 But these connections don’t end at graduation. Our teachers continue to provide unwavering support, following the progress and successes of our graduates, like Mellap.

Coming from humble beginnings, Mellap was enrolled on our two year dressmaking and tailoring course. During her time, she worked incredibly hard – proving herself with high quality skills, knowledge and self-confidence.

Following her graduation, Mellap triumphed in securing a position with one of Nairobi’s best garment production companies. Despite the geographical distance separating Nyamache from Nairobi, Mellap faced the challenges head-on and persevered, ultimately attaining a prestigious employment opportunity.

 As a head girl, Mellap is a natural leader and now gives back her time as a mentor, offering invaluable guidance and encouragement to our current students.
